World Book Day, also known as the World Book and Copyright Day or International Day of the Book, is celebrated every year on April 23.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

UNESCO introduced the event, which is now celebrated in over 100 countries.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The aim associated <\/strong>with the objective to promote the importance of reading, a lifelong love of literature, and integration into the world of work, to inculcate joy and foster the growth of readers and emphasize the pleasure of reading, creating book review and sharpen the writing skills of students with their own creativity.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

D P S Sagar organized a Book Review Competition for the students of Grade 3 to Grade 12 under their age groups.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The mode of conduction of this competition was online and\u00a0 A Book Review Committee was set to plan and execute this event.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

World Book Day celebration was an opportunity to the students to review the suggested books according to their age groups and learn to upload video on Facebook or youtube platform and reserve a graceful place in the school’s official social media and website.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The<\/strong> book review completion was based on Reading Books,\u00a0 Submission of books reviews, and recorded audio\/video of Book Review Presentation.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

For this competition, a <\/strong>good number of participants in all groups had taken initiative and 12 best entries from both groups of this competition were honored with e-certificates.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n
